All new First-Time-in-College students must participate in a Primary Advising Session.

a clear path toward achieving your academic goals.
You must attend a Primary Advising Session if you are:
- A new student who has never attended college.
- A new student who took dual-credit courses in high school.
When do I attend Primary Advising? After you have applied, and completed all other items on your checklist, visit one of the WCJC Academic Advising offices on any campus and ask to speak to an advisor.
Academic Advisors are available year-round (except on WCJC holidays), Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Walk-ins are welcome or you can talk to an advisor online.
New students must complete their Primary Advising Session in order to register for
classes. Come in early to help get the classes you want. We're excited to welcome you to
